How does the chamber work for me?
Princeton Preferred Discount Program
The Princeton Chamber is very pleased to offer this brand new program, launched in October of 2009. The purpose of this program is to stimulate local sales by offering consumers and businesses a discount on retail merchandise and services and to increase the value of Chamber membership. This program offers a unique combination of promoting business to business and consumer buying, boosting sales for our businesses, and giving them increased visibility. The Chamber's website gives its members the opportunity to attract customers and offer information about their business to the public. The website promotes Princeton by featuring a searchable business directory listing, job postings, business specials called "Hot Deals", a community calendar, as well as economic development, relocation and tourism information.
Business and Economic Development
The Chamber has a Retail Development Committee that meets once a month. Their mission is to strengthen Princeton's existing businesses and recruit new ones by gathering information, conducting research, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing incentives for building rehabilitation and business development. The Chamber also partners with the City of Princeton to support economic development efforts both in our Main Street district and beyond.
Often times, the Chamber of Commerce is the first point of contact for those looking for information about businesses and services in the Princeton area. The Chamber refers its member businesses through phone inquiries, mailings and those looking for information on the web.
Women In Business
The Chamber offers a quarterly luncheon geared toward providing women with the information that will empower them to grow and be successful in their professional and personal lives. In addition, the WIB events will enable women to expand their network to include other influential business women in the area. For more information, click here.

The Chamber sells in excess of $40,000 in gift certificates annually. Only Chamber members are able to redeem the gift certificates, keeping all of these dollars in our community.
