Retail Development Group

In 2009, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors held several strategic planning sessions to discuss how the Chamber could better serve retail businesses in Princeton. Out of these meetings came the idea of a downtown business development group.

In September, 2009 the Princeton Retail Development Group met for the first time. The focus of the group will be working with the City and Chamber to develop new programs that will assist with retention and expansion of Main Street businesses.

The 10-member group is comprised of local small business owners, civic leaders and representatives from the City and Chamber of Commerce. The mission is to find and encourage new retailers to open their businesses in Princeton and to assist our current retailers with retention and expansion programs.
